In seinem Schaffen fragt Florian Wiese (*1994) nach den Verbindungen zwischen literarischem- und bildnerischem arbeiten. Hierfür entwirft und er eine Novelle, die sich als literarische Gattung durch ihren geradlinigen und begrenzten Rahmen anbietet. Aber vor allem die zentrale Rolle des Dingsymbols, durch das und an dem sich die tieferen Sinnzusammenhänge der Erzählung zeigen, rückt sie alleine schon begrifflich in die Nähe der bildnerischen Arbeit. Doch mehr als nur begrifflich geht Wiese‘s literarisches Schaffen ab einem bestimmten Moment in ein bildnerisches über.

​In his work, Florian Wiese (*1994) investigates the connections between literary and visual practices. He does this in form of conceiving a novella. Which, as a literary genre, lends itself to this approach through its linear and confined structure. Above all, the central role of the symbolic object, through and upon which the deeper layers of meaning within the narrative unfold, already brings it conceptually into close proximity with visual practice. Yet Wieses’s literary work extends beyond a merely conceptual relationship to the visual; at a certain point, it transitions into it.
